Overview

In today’s fast-paced world, the possibilities of technology are endless. The programme prepares high-level specialists in the field of computer science with an in-depth understanding of the fundamental problems of modern computer science. Develop your analytical, theoretical and practical skills and become an IT specialist in demand in Latvia and Europe. The programme has been developed with the active participation of employers.

Programme structure

Mode and form of delivery of studies:
While the course is taught in person, lecture materials are also available digitally, allowing students to easily adapt to the pace of their studies. During the two years, students consolidate their theoretical knowledge, develop their skills and test what they have learned in a real work environment – in an internship. The study session takes place twice a year – in January and June.

The 2nd semester is devoted to the elaboration and defense of the Master’s thesis

Career opportunities

Graduates of the programme work in senior positions in IT companies and public administrations, responsible for the maintenance, development and security of IT systems.
